Mosselbay Solar

I ordered and paid for 2x8kw Sunsynk inverters and 6x5,1kw Sunsynk batteries during July 2022. I received the 2 inverters and 2 of the batteries after a while and a struggle. I recieved another two batteries after various calls and threats. The excuse was always the supplier Herholdts Electrical from George could not supply the batteries. By the end of November the other two batteries were still outstanding and I always kept on getting the same excuses. During the begining of January 2023 I really got fed up with the situation and I went to Herholdts electrical in George myself and I spoke to Mr Riaan Louw and he confirmed to me that there has not been any stock problems on the 5,1kw Sunsynk batteries. As a matter of fact he even had the same batteries in stock. I then contacted Mr Johan Du Toit of Mosselbay solar again and explained what the situation is. After various discussions and threats I did ask Mr Johan Du Toit to pay my money back for the two batteries still outstanding since he could not provide them. He paid me back the original price of the batteries I paid for in July minus his outstanding payment from me for the completion of the installation. So due to this fact that I now had to buy two new batteries 6 months later that costed me an additional R8000. He did come and complete the installation during January 2023. After he had done the installation I realized that the communication cables between the inverter and the batteries was never installed. I called in Daniel Lindeque to come and rectify the work for me and what a surprise we got when cover of the trunking was removed. The main cables between the inverter and the batteries were badly joined which was a great fire risk, no earthing cable on the inverter, no surge arrestors and the incorrect size of fuses. I have 3 people that can witness this situation and it costed me another R13500 to rectify the poor workmanship that was done by Mosselbay solar. I am not sure if they are registered with the solar installation association and whether he has a PV Greencard registration number? I cannot recommend this company to do a solar installation since from what I have seen at my installation it will be a waste of money.

Mr Johan du Toit sent me a whatsapp message this morning that was very insulting and swearing at me. It seems to me that the truth has somewhere hit a nerve. I refuse to answer him back since I will not downgrade myself to the same level of swearing that he has done and further making a valse accusation. He said that I said that he still owes me money, this is not what I said if you read my comments above you will see that I have said that he has paid back the money value of the original price of the batteries I paid for.
Furthermore if you are a reputable solar installation supplier you should know and have registered the Sunsynk inverter and batteries with Sunsynk to be able to retain the guarantee. This was not done and even up today no paperwork can be supp**** to me so that I can even try and do it myself. What type of business cannot supply any paperwork of the equipment that has been purchased, your filling systems should always be available and even if you have moved as he has claimed you cannot pack away your office administration.
