Extreme Poor Service
Submitted a claim in Oktober 2025 after a water pipe burst in the street and we suffered significant damage. Paving washed away, garages flooded, backyard flooded after all the washed out soil blocked my drains. Garden destroyed. A half hearted attempt was made to reinstate my paving. Ended up cracking paving bricks and the workmanship was poor to say the least. Yhe paving was left uneven and looks terrible. The contractor provided damaged my electric gate and still had the odasity to tell me it was broken alteady!! I paid for the repairs as I could not leave it open with all the homeless people that seems to have found a liking for the area. I submitted all the required documents requested to support the claim. I have followed up on several occasions and get the same response...... the matter is receiving priority attention and "I will revert"..... Almost a year have past without a outcome. I always see the municipality boasting and "polishing their own badge" about service delivery. Well, unfortunately I cannot agree.
