Taken by a Con Artist

A very convincing call (Morne') said his agent had seen my Wanted ad I placed for a Ring Bender I was looking to buy. and referred him. He said he was from Tracesurge 88, Plot 100, Barrage Road, Midvaal. He was an auctioneer and a client had left Jewalry equipment as security and never came back. He said he had the ring bender we were looking for and said he was coming to deliver vehicles to Hazeview and could bring it to us in Nelspruit on his way (Plus other tools that interested us. He needed a deposit immediately via cellphone to get it released from the store and was leaving within the hour. We paid a deposit of R1500.00 but refused to pay anymore with out receipt of the tools. He assured us he would send his location along the way and had already sent pictures and ID documents via MMS as they were experiencing load shedding, which we did not receive. He phoned about a dozen times thereafter asking for more money .Needless to say we never saw our ring bender, our money or him again. Are there no honest people left in the world
