Bad service and empty promises

We have had very disappointing service from this company. They have opened up in Johannesburg (called SA Handyman) and we asked them to fit a new geyser in house. After having to wait a while for delivery (as the man had no vehicle) they geyser was fitted. When the geyser was filling it started to leak and destroyed our ceiling. The parts needed to fit the geyser were not checked by the man (Jakes) before installation. This led to the leak and damage to our ceiling. We were assured that the ceiling would be repaired at no extra cost. It took a week before ceiling boards were installed and NOTHING else has been done, no painting, no cornices, nothing that should be done. I have contacted Jakes various times and every time he tells me that he will sort it "in the next week". A month an d a half later we are STILL waiting.

This man also employed my fiance, promising an increase in salary (he was employed elsewhere and had a steady income). He also promised him a company vehicle and commission from every job completed. This was also a month and a half ago and we have only seen a small sum of the huge amount now owed.

This company is a lot of talk and VERY VERY little action.
