Worst service and experience
Do not buy any new or used vehicle from Nissan Northcliff. If I could rate it less I would. Worst experience ever. I app**** for a pre-owned bakkie. Got approved instantly but took them 2 weeks to sort out my paperwork. I was told I need to pay a deposit for the vehicle which I mentioned I would only be able to do at end of the week, after payday, which was only 3 days away. After being called everyday within that week to a pay deposit, I was told a cash customer is interested in the bakkie as well but the sales person assured me that it has not been finalized and the car is mine. I insured the vehicle and paid the deposit on the Friday morning as promised. After paying the deposit the sales person ignored my calls and messages, just to phone me later and tell me that unfortunately the bakkie has been sold to a cash customer and there is nothing he can do about it. I drove all the way to the dealership to find out what happened, the sales person said they have a 24 hour window to secure the vehicle and I failed to pay deposit therefore the client has already taken the car. I requested them to show me paperwork because I believe it is impossible to sell a vehicle in 2 hours from when I was last told the vehicle is still mine to when they closed the day before. I asked the manager to show me the rule that says you only have 24 hours to secure your deal, he couldn't show me and therefore I believe this is made up. After fighting with the sales man and getting the manager involved, turns out they both **** to me in my face. The Manager said that they can only pay me back my deposit. Luckily the sales man slip up and told me that the " cash " customer has put down a deposit as well which turns out to be financed. I also found out that they have actually hidden the vehicle away from me behind the dealership. After loosing my **** and told them I want to speak to the Deputy Principle they told me he is in a meeting, which is fine by me as I would have waited until he is finished. After waiting about 2 hours the sales person came to me and told me the car is mine and I can take it. Worst experience ever as no one even apologized or anything not even the deputy principle came to speak to me and my wife. They are extremely unprofessional. They lie to you and even admit it. I would advise any person to not buy a new or used vehicle from Nissan Northcliff
