Morena Tsepiso Construction and Projects ********** ******* - DO NOT HIRE THEM

The contractor Morena Tsepiso Construction and Projects is unreliable, dishonest and highly unprofessional to say the least.

Bukhosi Mabena, the contractor gave me reassurance at the time of quotation that the job will be concluded in 8 to 10 days. Sadly, the job remains unfinished.

The workmanship is of deplorable standard, tiles and bricks are *****. I asked him about this and he said that they will cover it up when plastering.

The quotation he initially gave kept growing daily sometimes 3 to 4 times a day. Citing “sorry dear, we miscalculated, we need more stone, we need more sand, we need more bricks (bricks were delivered 4 times), more cement, more IBR roof sheets, more brandering wood, cornice, etc. There were also things that were not included e.g. window sills, windows, etc. When I asked why the huge miscalculations, he said “sorry dear”. I also asked him if this was his first building project because someone with years’ worth of experience would not make such huge miscalculations, to which he responded, it is not his first project. I also asked him if his other projects also had huge miscalculations to which he said no. Which makes it very difficult to understand why my project was privy to miscalculations and misrepresentations.

I have been for the past week or so been having difficulty getting him to take my calls or even respond to messages. I have been extremely accommodating and have given him the benefit of the doubt to come and complete the project but to no avail.

He had told me that he under quoted for labour to which I said he should relook at his figures and come back to me so that we can find a way forward.

I feel violated and taken advantage of because I'm a woman he deliberately misrepresented his quotation just to secure the job. That is tantamount to ***** as the job remains unfinished.
