Manipulative & *********/ Deceptive Behavior

On Sunday 16 May 2021, we joined Moove MFC gym where the main member who pays R249 per month, is allowed to bring on a buddy member for R149 per month. The contracts were signed and all relevant joining fees were paid. On Monday I was informed by staff that the accounts department had informed them that my contract is invalid and that I did not qualify for the buddy membership as I had been a member of the gym in the past.

On numerous occasions and from numerous staff members we had enquired about the terms and conditions of the contracts. Not once was this issue brought up.

I find this behavior manipulative and ********* as we had been reeled in to join your gym, pay the required fees & afterwards we are told to sign a new contracts with different membership fees (from R149 to R249) due to discrepancies which we had no part of. We were deceived and currently we are expected to bear the brunt of your incompetence.
