Appalling Service

I contacted Moodley Movers (spoke to Prega) about moving furniture from Pretoria to Durban. Prega sent me an e-mail saying that he would collect the furniture on Monday, 23rd October and deliver in Durban on Tuesday 24th October and that a deposit needs to be paid. I immediately made this payment and then I never heard from him again until my husband contacted him. Then he said that he will collect the furniture on Wednesday, 25 October and deliver on Thursday, 26 October. On Wednesday, we had to contact him to find out what time he will be collecting the furniture, to which he said that he will be at my house at 11h00. At 12h00, he calls to say that his driver is running late, and he will be at my house at 13h00. The driver only arrives at 14h45. On Thursday, he told us that his driver has to make a stop and pick up furniture from another place and he might not be able to deliver the furniture so he may only go and deliver on Friday, 27 October and this after me telling him that nobody is available on Friday to collect the furniture. On Monday, 30 October, he sends me an sms an 09h00 telling me that his driver is going to be delivering the furniture at 09h30 and that I must make the balance payment or the furniture cannot be offloaded. Prega does not care that other people work and may not be available. He expects to turn up when he wants to and the customer is just supposed to be available. I will never use this company ever again or refer him to anybody, even as a last resort. The service received from him was putrid.
