Wheelchair UNFRIENDLY & no respect for the dignity of the mobility-impaired

On 22 October, my mother and I went to see Evita at the Teatro at Montecasino. I arranged for wheelchair parking before-hand. When I had to pay today upon entering the parking, the parking attendant Biopelo, who works for Servest via Montecasino, had absolutely NO idea wheelchair parking existed. We went with a s******, which is extremely heavy for a woman alone to get out of the car. No one was able or willing to assist. Patricia, who works for CST (or something of that like), blatantly stated they 'do not do that here'. They were not willing to assist at all. At the Teatro, the ushers were not willing to assist with the s****** either. The manager of the Teatro laughed in my face at the situation. I am astounded. How can an establishment like this get past the constitutional laws of South Africa? I really do not hope that one of the numerous employees of Montecasino ever have to lose their mobility, as I too will then laugh in their faces and walk the other way. This is far from over.
