Unpleasant experience at Tsogo Sun Gold Reef City.

Booked into Tsogo Sun Gold Reef City Theme Park last Friday - 8 Dec. The receptionist "forgot" to share the contact details for reception and the phones in the room didn't link through speed dials so there was no way to contact Reception, Housekeeping or any other service. I eventually took a walk which was quite an inconvenience.

The room was great, clean and of high standards but that never helped much when I wanted to make a cup of Tea and the kettle didn't work. I called reception and even after 90mins nobody came out. So there was no Tea that was had.

The shower leaked terribly, like the entire bathroom floor was flooded, I did report at reception and they did arrange for someone to fix but never made a huge difference.

The parking and logistics to the Hotel is a nightmare and to carry your stuff in and out without a porter is not an option.

The was a party happening in the same building of my room and it was a disaster, I got no sleep what so ever. At around 11-30pm I called reception as the noise was unbearable.

The next morning at breakfast, I was hoping that would make up for the unpleasant night, only to be told that they don't cater for Strictly Vegetarian. The breakfast choices weren't great and I wouldn't bank on eating there ever again due to the bad quality.

Overall not worth the money spent.
