Teatro sound quality was appalling.
The Teatro at Montecasino With the new Swinging Last Vasag show about to start I must express my disappointment with my experience at the Teatro during the performance of the last Swinging Las Vegas. While your venue is advertised as a world-class theatre, my experience from the upper balcony seats painted a very different picture. The sound quality was appalling. It was harsh, unbalanced, and overwhelmingly high-pitched. So much so that audience members seated in front of us resorted to putting paper in their ears in an attempt to reduce the discomfort. I was tempted to leave after the first half of the show, and would have done so were it not for my wife’s encouragement to stay. I ended up watching the second half with my fingers in my ears—hardly the immersive, enjoyable theatre experience I was expecting. Frankly, I get better audio clarity from the JBL soundbar in my TV lounge. As a paying guest at what is meant to be a premium entertainment venue, I found the sound quality unacceptable. I hope you take this feedback seriously and review your sound engineering setup, especially for balcony areas so future patrons aren’t subjected to the same discomfort. Regard Alan
