Rude staff at Monte Casino Teatro.

After experiencing a wonderful Karen Zoid show on the 25th of October, I proceeded to make my way to the stage in the hopes of catching Karen, and maybe getting an autograph.

She was not seeing anyone, and I proceeded to sit down on the stage, to take a photograph of the stage as my backdrop. Failing to get the whole shot in, I stood up, to which one of your cleaning staff proceeded to shout at me from the rows that "I need to get off the stage." I politely answered that I wanted to take a picture, with no ill intent, I was shouted at again from another staff member that it's "Not Tsogo Sun's policy, and I needed to get off the stage."

I had not damaged any property, I had no ill or malicious intent, and felt it was in bad taste that people shouted to me to get of the stage like I was a common ********.

As someone who is in the industry, I would never violate anyone's space as I am aware of the costs of equipment / private space etc.

I am so disgusted, and recall a similar situation when Tori Amos performed here at a concert I also attended. (This was another patron, but the memory is still clearly etched in my mind as I remember Tori publicly reprimanding the staff of Tsogo Sun.)

I will not be visiting the Teatro or Monte Casino again, I will gladly spend my money elsewhere.

Your staff members should learn people will be much more cooperative if they aren't shouted to from across the room. I am deeply disappointed by how your staff is trained. They could have quietly approached me, and not humiliated me in front of at least a dozen people. Unfortunately I was so upset I did not manage to catch names, not that I care, and neither will you, because that is how corporate companies roll.

I will spend my hard earned cash at Any venue but a Tsogo Sun. What a shame. I would never treat anyone with the level of disrespect I have received tonight.

I had an emotional experience with the music, and now it is *****ed by this disgusting aftertaste.
