Monte put me in a horrible situation
I came to Monte yesterday the 01 September 2015.
I went to the Nedbank ATM to draw cash as we were going to have breakfast at Sun Square.
I put in my card and entered my pin, then the electricity shut down and came on. my card was gone! there I am at Monte with no money!!! I then decide to send my husband some cash via my cellphone. I sent him a small amount as I wasn't sure of the app I was using. any case he withdrew the small amount. I then sent him another amount and as he was about to receive the cash, the electricity shut down again and came on. I then I had to wait for nedbank to open and sort this out. I cannot get back that money as they have to balance the ATM first, which takes a week or so. there wasn't loadshedding yesterday which mean monte was running some kind of tests or whatever. I cannot believe that you have put me in such a bad situation now. what am I suppose to do? I am stranded!!!

Montecasino certainly doesn't purpose to inconvenience our customers, but the very opposite, in that we strive for our customers to receive a World Class Service & Experience. The testing of our generators is an unfortunate requirement, as Eskom hadn't selectively load shed the area during the month of August. The generators need to either be tested manually or be subject to the load shedding by Eskom to ensure that when the latter does occur, we have a precinct that can still cater to our customers' needs.
We can only humbly apologise for the timing and trust that you will receive expedient assistance from Nedbank.
Thank you and regards
