MONTE EAGLE LOGISTICS THRIVES ON EXPLOITING SMALL TRANSPORTERS

I worked for Monte Eagle Logistics. They promise big but thrive on exploiting small businesses. They gave me loads to East London through their sales rep Brendon Naiker, and they promised me loads through to Johannesburg and back to Durban. I later realized that they hire small transporters when they have a pressing order in a far-flung place. When you get there with their load, whether you get a load back or not is none of their business when my 2 guys were in East London, Monte Eagle kept on postponing the loading date, meantime I was busy paying for my guys' food and accommodation. They promised that they will pay for standing time once my guys come back but they never paid till today. This was in December 2018. Only on the 4th day, we were instructed to go from farm to farm to load bits and pieces of the Johannesburg load. We loaded and left for Johannesburg. In Johannesburg, my guys were asked to stay for another 3 days and this is when ********* took off my gearbox from the truck while my guys lodged in the night. They promised to pay for all this but I had to make my way to fixe the broken gearbox that was put in the truck. When the guys came back down to Durban after more than a fortnight of hustles, Monte Eagle refused to pay. They Passed me from pillar to post and this is when I started being introduced to the company accountant, their manager and everyone else and Brendon was no more answering my calls. Till today I haven't been paid for the standing time and all the incurred costs as was promised. THEY ARE ROGUES DESTROYING SMALL BUSINESSES TO SECURE THEIR OWN GROWTH.
