Empty promises

We went there for a food and wine show in March this year. There I bought 6 bottles of wine (just over R600.00) paid in full, it was supposed to be sent to me. Still today I have not received any wine. When I asked when I will get it, no one answers me. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!! I also won a overnight stay that night for me and my husband, Jackey Leach (I think she is the GM) asked me when we want to go. I gave her a date and so they were fully booked at the time. I then asked her to give me dates because every date I asked for was not available. We finally got to a date, only to get an email a few (i think it was more than 'n few) days later saying that this date is no longer available. I think this is UTTERLY shocking. Having been in the hospitality business for many years, I have not come across anything like this. Incompetence does not even get close to explain this place. They truly need new people there, it is a stunning venue, but it does not help if management is ***********. It is frustrating!!!!!!!!!!! and DISGUSTING!

After our weekend at Monte De Dios this past weekend, I am very happy to report that I have never ever had an experience like the one we had. I would like to thank each and every staff member who made us feel like royalty, it was truly a most memorable experience. Thanks to Yolanda, the girls in the spa, Kagiso and the rest of the staff, they really outdid themselves. Thanks to the owner, Leon Pheiffer, it was amazing.
