Pay back the money for new parts
Good day This is the worst vehicle sale we have ever in counted since buying cars in South Africa with my Brother because it’s not our 1st car sale. At Monte Carlo Auto Sandon, my Brother saw a Hammer H3 that he was interested in and took Mr Thuli’s number to start the sale process, because he had to go to Mozambique for work. I stayed in South Africa and communicated with Mr Thuli, on every process and payments needed to buy the car cash. On the 1st week when we started the Process with Mr Thuli, it was on a Monday 8 August 2022 and we discussed the conditions to acquire the Hammer H3 because by Friday everything must be concluded and done with. On Tuesday the 9 August 2022, I Lebogang Jetheney personally communicated with Mr Thuli on his recommendations of paying a DEPOSIT on the Hammer H3, of R10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Rands), which we deposit on the 9 August 2022. Before we paid the deposit of the Hammer H3, I personally asked Mr Thuli, “if I do what you tell me to do, everything will be ready with the car for my brother Florencio Silva Moqambicana? Because he will fly to South Africa from Mozambique on Thursday 11 August 2022 and go back driving the car to Mozambique on Friday 12 August 2022.” On the 10 August 2022 Mr Thuli said we must pay for the Traffic Register so that he can be able to cross with the Hammer H3 to Mozambique on Friday it only takes 1 day to be issued, we must just send money. On the 11 August 2022,we paid the balance of the Hammer H3 which was R149,900.00 and Mr Thuli told me everything will be ready, but it wasn’t. I fetched the car on Thursday 5pm and didn't drive far but I could feel that the Hammer H3 does not have power and sounds like a diesel but its patrol, plus it had a Service Light on. My Brother was also flying to South Africa from Mozambique because Friday he had to drive back to Mozambique but we were not sure if it was in good condition to drive to Mozambique. We slept at The Capital Hotel in Sandton on Thursday night so that Friday morning we can take back the Hammer H3 back to the dealership since it had a Service Light on and we were not impressed with the driving condition. Friday morning by the time the dealership was open we were the with the Hammer H3 and the manager Mr Chris checked the car and told Mr Thuli to take it to their workshop and service the car because we showed them that on the Service Book it shows that the car was only serviced on the 16/04/2021. Mr Thuli took the Hammer H3 to their Workshop to get it serviced and we waited from Friday morning till later in the afternoon for them to return the car. The Hammer H3 was returned back and Mr Thuli insisted that the car is in good condition to drive to Mozambique and compiled documents and stamped them because the car papers were not ready as promised. The cars engine light was still on but Mr Thuli said its because of a plug they ordered and will be imported by next week Friday. My Brother drove to Mozambique with the Hammer H3 and on his way he could feel that the car wheels are not in condition and the car brakes are not in good condition. My Brother had to change 4 Brake Pads, both front shims and back shims because they were damaged by the wore off Brake Pads which costed him R21, 000.00 not including labor. We told Mr Thuli that my Brother risked his life by driving the car to Mozambique and he can't come back without replacing the 4 Shims and 4 Brake pads and the car was still not sounding right so he had to send it in to be diagnosed properly. Mr Thuli said the car was serviced and the Service Light was on because they have to replace a plug they ordered, but the car was not fully serviced or serviced at all because the car didn't even have Gearbox Oil, the exhaust pipe is not in good condition, it was glued and it is missing the caps on the engine. We were asked to send the receipt, proof of payment and mileages of the Hammer H3, along with the pictures of the replaced parts by both Mr Thuli and Mr Chris so that we can be reimbursed at least for the parts bought because they were not easy to get. We paid for the car cash, paid R3000 for the Traffic Register which even today we don't have because Mr Thuli always has new stories and his manager Mr Chris is also not honest to customers. All we need is for Monte Carlo Auto to pay the R21, 000.00 for the front and back wheel parts and give us the Traffic Register and car Change of Ownership papers.
