Condescending attitude & Poor service - V&A WF montblanc
As i own a couple of MB items, 22 months ago I bought a MB Summit smart watch form the Waterfront store and after regular usage the charger became faulty and needs replacing.
I went into the store and was told that it would be needed to be ordered from Germany. 7 weeks later i still have no idea when the charger will arrive. I asked the store for more info but all i get is- "It's been ordered and we must wait". In what world is a 7 week & counting turnaround time for a replacement ok?
to add insult to this injury and what angers me most is that when i asked about future issues and my concerns about how they will be managed and that if my smart watch has issues what would i do, the answer was and i quote "Technical devices are in the same category as smartphones and laptops. They are useful for 2 or so years... " and that i'd bought a cheap watch based on their normal range of watches and i quote" This is why they are extremely well priced (our core range luxury watches starts around R40000+)"
Well MB, I paid a super premium price for a smart watch and don't need to be made as if i need to just suck it up as i didn't buy one of the more expensive watches. If that was the case, I'd have bought an apple watch ( i probably should have...)
I am so disappointed by the poor service and condescending attitude.
In a world where customer experience is everything, it shouldn't end when the sale is made.
Not what I expect. Not good at all. You have lost a customer albeit one who only spent R15K on a smart watch.
