Montagu springs chalet what to do !

I would like to share my experience at Montagu springs resort.,Cape town.I was really taken a back at how they upgraded their chalets .Fully fitted kitchen ,self catering, crockery,pots etc. it was a bit chilly so the instant gas geyser was a pleasant surprise .Took a nice hot shower.They provide clean white sheets and crispy white thick duvet and blankets .I absolutely loved it !! The hot springs was R20 to go to and you can stay until 10 pm ,the one in the back towards the mountain it's so hot the steam is actually coming out !! A bit too hot for me though.The next morning we went for a half hour hike to the caves ,a must do ,it involves,crossing over a small river ,up a ladder but not too hectic .but when you reach up there it's absolutely breathtaking. Shops are nearby ,and there's a local superette.you allowed to go down to the Hotel,at Avalon springs,it's R135 to get in and they have the slides as well .those pools are definitely better ,not as hot 🔥.There's a restaurant as well as , slushy,snacks ,ice creams .but pricey . definitely worth the drive ,took us 2 hours out of Cape town,toll through the tunnel R55. Will come back anytime .last thing they have washing lines ,but bring your own pegs ! Hope this review helped.
