Cancellation of Booking Reservation

We had our reservation cancelled without notification. A week ago we received a call to ask about when the deposit. There was no mention of a imminent cancellation. Today a email is sent notifying us that our booking is cancelled. When we called it was said they will not accept any payment today to secure this booking. They are fully booked and have a long waiting list. This is unacceptable treatment, especially since we overlooked their bad treatment last year and decided to stay there again, since our children enjoyed staying there so much last year. Last year they decided to inform us on arrival that they had moved us to a different camp-site. Bearing in mind that camp-sites are booked up front when making a reservation. They decided to move us to a site on the edge of the resort where there are no wind breaks and the wind is at its strongest. We overlooked this as the manger on duty was able to move us to better sheltered site. But this seems to be normal behaviour for the owner/s at this resort. There is no need to inform or communicate with customers, you can do as you please!!! I would not recommend anyone stay at Montagu Guana Cave Resort!!
