Humiliated

I have never felt so humiliated In any store ever. I was in a rush and after visiting several other shops i just thought let me take a chance maby Montagu shop Plattekloof Village Western Cape will sell ‘onion powder’. Ive been in the shop before and i thought they had quite a selection of nice and interesting goodies. But it wasn’t like i knew the store inside out. When i asked the owner or store manager or who ever he was if by any chance they might sell spices as well. He made me feel like the dumbest person ever by saying something sarcastic like... lets see fruits and nuts and onion powder does it really go on the same shelve??and then felt he had to insult me just a little more by asking me if i dyed my hair. By implicating that only a ‘dumb blond’ would come and ask him in his store such a question. He could have just said no we dont sell that but oh no he took great joy in humiliating me. This is such a stupid thing to complain about but i worked in Retail for 20 odd years and ive never ever tried to make anyone feel stupid no matter what the question. I will never buy at this store again. Or actually at any other Montagu store for that matter. And it wil make no difference to him im sure and that’s what so wrong with customer service in this country today. Its never okay to humiliate a customer for whatever reason!
