Very poor service delivery!!!

This company quoted to do our lunch and tea for an event we were planning. The order was originally for 450 lunches, packs of biscuits and a ****in & doughnut for tea. Well they DEFINITELY did NOT deliver on their promises!!!

The owner, Chef Dee, and another chef arrived with 2 sample bags of the order about a month before. The food looked amazing and tasted even better. The biscuits we wanted were clearly home baked and they offered a lovely ****in and small doughnut, beautifully iced. Each pack would contain the lunch with a roll, the ****in & doughnut in a nicely packaged container, the biscuits beautifully presented. Also a plastic knife & fork all wrapped in a serviette and in a packet with a ribbon. They promised delivery of the same on the day and also 4 chefs to help us with serving etc.

Once the order was confirmed, Chef Dee hounded the organizer of the event to pay the deposit, and by that I mean she literally phoned every 15 minutes!! After the deposit was paid and we tried to get hold of her to confirm the order etc. she would not answer any calls or respond to any messages.

Less than a week before the event she finally contacted the organizer to say that her ovens had been broken but were now fixed so she was beginning with the biscuits and ****ins. We struggled to make contact with her after that at all. Delivery of the biscuits was supposed to happen on the Wednesday and they were only delivered late on Thursday. And what a surprise ... not the baked lovely biscuits that we had been given to sample, but store bought biscuits!! And no excuse either.

Needless to say, on the day of our event they arrived late, and only with half the lunch orders. The tea time cupcake and doughnut we extremely disappointing ... about a teas**** of cupcake mixture in a paper cup, no icing! No doughnut, but instead 2 small things that looked like a doughnut but were clearly not baked. They appeared to be from a bulk packet of some sort, each slightly bigger than a R5,00 coin!!

Then we checked the lunch ... polar opposite from what were originally offered!!! It was supposed to be a 1/4 chicken, pasta salad and butternut mash. The first pack we opened had 1 chicken leg, about a table s**** of sad looking pasta and a teas**** of butternut mash!! As we handed out the packs at lunch, some people got no butternut at all, one person had only butternut in her container. Some had no chicken at all. Some had 1 chicken leg, some had 2. The pasta salad was awful!! Not at all what we had seen and tasted a month before. We saw many of the people throwing theirs away ...

There was 1 lady who came with the food, clearly not a chef, and she sat wrapping the plastic knives and forks in serviettes the whole morning as these had not been included. The food was brought packed in boxes with no gift packets as we had originally been shown. The rolls were ALL totally squashed and badly packed ... most were not eaten and we had almost half a box left over. And then Chef Dee had the audacity to ask us to pay her driver when he delivered the balance of the lunch!!!

For us as organizers of the event, we were extremely embarrassed to offer that food to our people. Our advice would be to STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE!!! She does not delivery on her promises and we believe she ****med us terribly.
