Poor service
Monster Plumbing was assigned to me as part of an insurance claim through Discovery Insure. I requested that the plumber (Vincent) return as the workmanship of the job done was poor and the toilet was running for an extended period of time after flushing. He explained that the running toilet could not be remedied as this was the mechanism & how it functioned. I indicated that I was dissatisfied with this response and that I would escalate it to Kevin. Thereafter, my toilet had not been flushed and it runs continuously. This had not happened prior to any repairs done so I am of the opinion that this is due to Monster Plumbing's service. My interaction with Kevin left a lot to be desired. He made it seem as though I was being unreasonable and that the fault was completely separate to their work. Ultimately, he had offered to get Vincent to return but that I should record the toilet being flushed for his records to ensure that it was working when Vincent left. I appreciate that my complaint was being heard but stated that I am not an inconvenience as per Kevin's tone. Ultimately, I put the phone down while being shouted at. \Listen Lady"is no way to talk to a customer!"""
We were called out for your leaking toilet. We replaced your leaking fluid valve, pan con & flexi hose. We reported your resultant damage to DI. You called us as the water was continuously running & we sent our team back under our warranty. We thought that maybe our tech misjudged the setting of the fluid valve causing the water to go into the overflow. He checked the level and flushed the toilet in front of you & the button popped up & it just seemed that it took a little longer to fill up the cistern. He also sealed the toilet (he hadn't the first visit to make it easier for DI for damage repair) & advised you it needs to dry. You used the toilet and called us very annoyed that now the flush button won't pop up which is causing the water to run again. All Kevin was trying to explain to you was that we had replaced your leaking parts and we did not work on the flush button so that seems to be a further issue but that we are willing to return to sort it out. You seemed dissatisfied with whatever he was trying to explain/offer you. You threatened to report us even though we were going to return - if you had remained calm & understood the issue at hand, your problem would be sorted.
