Wedding Mess

I was referred to Monsieur Adams by a work colleague of mine who had used him to design suits for his weddings. I was really impressed by Monsieurs work and decided to use him. My wedding was going to be on the 25th and 26th of November 2017. 06 April we started chatting with Monsieur and talked about payment arrangements. I wanted a 3 piece suit for my groomsmens, jacket, waistcoat and trouser. Monsieur decided to give us a better offer and he said he'll add a shirt. Monsieur wanted payment be done as quickly as possible so that he can start with the work. As some of my groomsmen had financial difficulties I pushed them to pay and they managed to make all payments by the 3rd of October 2017. I spoke to Monsieur on the 17th of October and he gave me a date for the 11th of November to do "complete final fitting" and he said he'll do touch ups after that cause it normally takes a day or two for alterations. On the 11th of November we could not meet with Monsieur as on the 10th of November he sent me a whatsapp saying there's been a slight delay but "all is under control". We then postponed for the 18th of Novemeber. 18th of November we met with Monsieur, my suits as the groom were complete with a few touch ups needed to be done. As for the groomsmen he had only finished the jackets with no hands and 1 or 2 guys had trousers to fit(if I remember correctly). He told us the suits would be finished during that week. On the 22nd of November I spoke to Monsieur to enquire about the progress and he said "we'll probably finish late today I'll keep u posted all is good and under control..no worries". On the 22nd of November I went to his workshop as now I was getting worried and I found his designer Abel. We get there and what I found was just utter *******. There were so many alterations that needed to be done on the groomsmen's suits. As in the pictures attached, all my groomsmens waistcoat were not fitting, correct sizes were not measured. The groomsmens trousers were either too short or too long. Some jackets had to be altered so they could fit the guys. Worst of all at his workshop Abel told us he only designed the jackets and if we needed alterations to the trousers, shirts and waistcoat we had to go another designer who had designed the other parts of the suit. So Monsieur uses different people to design suits!! I left his workshop with a broken heart and that night he told me we had to forget about the waistcoat because there was just too much work to do on them. Now essentially my wedding was *****ed* as now the 3 piece suit I wanted for my groomsmen could not happen. On the 24th of November I returned back to his workshop and the alterations were done. Saturday,25 of November was the wedding and I realised upon wearing my first suit that between the legs it was torn(see pics). On the sunday another groomsmen found that his trousers were also torn. There was nothing we could do and I just told my groomsmen to just keep a brave face and enjoy the wedding. After the wedding I spoke to Monsieur to see how we could have this issue fixed(mind you I had to call him, he never bothered to ask me how things were and what he could do to resolve this mess. When questioning him about the alterations he told me that for the waistcoat he can only give us a refund of R250 for each waistcoat. I mean for a R4500 suit, waistcoat only cost R250. Clearly this guy had no intention of helping us. Since then I've given him what my groomsmen want as refunds and he has not come back to us. On the 08th of December I gave him a list of my groomsmens demands and he said he'll come to me during the week of the 11th of November. I'm writing this post and its now going to 2 weeks without Monsieur not keeping to his promise that he'll come back to me. I need everyone to know how Monsieur Adams messed up my wedding and in the process has not shown any remorse to fix the mess he created, for those that are doing business with him please know the type of person you're dealing with.
