Technicians very unhelpful and not knowledgeable

We had our alarm system installed less than a month ago. The alarm keeps going off at ungodly hours. First, the technician was supposed to come out this morning (16 January 2018) at 08:00. I waited until 09:00 before calling and requesting they come this afternoon at 16:00 as I unfortunately can't sit around and wait all day long. They eventually get here at 16:15, change the height setting on the eyes so high that it doesn't even pick me up (I'm 1.72m tall) as they think the dogs are setting it off. Ummmmm... I specifically asked for pet friendly sensors???????????? He then tells me that I should "check and see" if it is better! NO! You were supposed to bring PET FRIENDLY SENSORS for installation!!!! Calling the technical department again and lo and behold, they close at 16:30 (apparently, as I called just before that and I was told they'd already knocked off). O ja, they also don't have a customer complaints line or a way to post to their facebook (apart from private messaging), so here I am.

So MonitorNet, what's the deal with you guys?
