If it’s great loss you want, use Monarch!

If you want your valuable items broken or delivered hours late because they were lost, move with Monarch🤦🏽♂️. Had the worst of experiences with these guys. I was moving from CPT to JHB. When they came to fetch my stuff they marked everything in stickers which made me feel at ease. Then came delivery day in JHB. I had instructed them to deliver around 10 in the morning as I would be landing earlier, the truck arrived but they brought the wrong load 🙌🏽. After figuring out my load is in PTA, I had to wait till 4 to get my things and start unpacking. It took hours to unload the truck by the time they were done it was dusk. We also had to spend the night unpacking.

That’s not the worst of it, as i was unpacking there were a few things that were damaged, ie chips on furniture, broken lamps etc. I was like ok not the worst i can overlook this. Little did i know then the TV was completely smashed 😡😡. How?? It baffles me! The tv was wrapped by the loading guys with blankets and blankets and insulation. But someone they stored it soo badly that it got completely damaged. Worst part, they denied it was them 🤷🏽♂️. Like they outright denied it and said i should have took insurance. The same insurance that was soo administratively intense it was just impossible

As if that was not enough, i was slapped with another invoice of 3k more to pay because they said the truck won’t fit in my apartment building. At the end I lost +- 12k more due to shady extra costs, damaged furniture.
