Barely a Pulse ... let alone a Throbb ...

After having experienced a fabulous evening @Mon Petit Throbb a few weeks ago, I thought I would like to re-experience that sentiment with some friends. After waiting for 1 hr, 10 mins for our food to arrive (3 starters & 3 mains) we started to get a bit edgy & virtually threatened that unless the food arrived within 2 minutes, they were to issue the bill & we would be leaving. The food arrived but ranged from cold, raw or generally pretty unappetising in appearance. The duck dish did not resemble, either in taste or appearance that which I had previously had &was also cold as were the starters. The pasta dish had a brown watery sauce with a few slices of carrot & baby marrow &was thrown into the dish. The veal was raw &at this stage we called for the manager who had not shown face &was in the back office despite the obvious chaos pending in the kitchen. He undertook to remake it personally, but we declined &my friend went home hungry. The waiter, Shepherd was left to handle the manager's \dirty work"thereafter"
