Some tips if you use MoiMooi & my experience – part 1.
1. Make friends with the call centre agents you are going to be calling them a lot as the site doesn’t have FAQ (frequently asked questions). Any other normal site has FAQ’s but not this one. -__- Every time I call in and book a session I find out new information on what I can or can’t do. Do you honestly think that’s right for a customer to back and forth like a merry go round and not provide us with information on the site? 2. Every month you get your 5 sessions right? And for example you might want your hair done, mani, pedi, facial, waxing but they don’t have any available sessions for the days that you want and you can’t choose any other date then unfortunately you lose 5 sessions for the month. They insist that that there are other services they provide with available times and dates (which you personally may not want). If you want none of the other services they offer then you lose your sessions. You might as well draw money from the ATM and flush it down the toilet yourself. 3. I booked online for 4 sessions on one day, 2 for myself and 2 for the other person I wanted to come with me at different times of course. The site allowed me to do this but as I spoke to the call centre agent regarding another query only then I had to find out that I cannot book that amount of sessions on one day even if it’s for different people. The agent I spoke to told me that she will have to cancel one of the sessions as I am only allowed to book 1 combo and 1 single session per day. Fair enough, but gave me an alternative for the next day which was a working day for the one session she cancelled. In a fairytale world I will be able to take leave whenever it pleases me. When I had spoken to the consultant who signed me up she said its fine I can book multiple per day but the call centre agent gave me a completely different story. 4. Realistically lots of people work during the week so it makes it kind of difficult to book a session in the week and it is so scarce to get a session on a weekend. 5. When I asked for the cancellation policy, the consultant only told me that I have to email them and give them a written notice to cancel. The notice must be given 20 working days before they can cancel. Nothing of a customer having to pay a cancellation fee. For eg. You want your subscription cancelled for April, the cancellation fee is R399 (1 months subscription) but you can still book sessions in April and use it up. Which I feel is fair. 6. As soon as the day becomes available you must book a.s.a.p. as the available sessions get booked out quickly on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 7. They promise to send you confirmation email that I am a member but I had to hound them 3 days later for my confirmation email. 8.I am going to ride it out for the next month or two to see how it goes and see if I do decide to cancel. Will update with a part 2.
