Insult to injury

When joining in Sept 2019, the agent said I could claim a free visit before my contract commences. After visiting the salon for my free visit, I immediately cancelled the next day. The the****** used filthy towels and and my nail gel came off as I left the salon. Totally unprofessional and unhygienic. I understood that R200 would be deducted for my cancellation but ever since then they have continued to deduct money from my bank account. It first started off on the 24th of each month and then it changed to different days an even different amounts, so sneaky! I could not stop all the debit orders from my app and they kept changing the reference numbers so it was impossible for my bank to stop the debit orders! I am still seeking legal advice, as they have informed me that I am in arrears of R1596 and they would be handing me over to their attorneys.

Dear Member,

Our communication logs clearly indicate that you requested to cancel after signing up and then decided to stay on board. We have all the voice recordings and other correspondence attesting to this. If you indeed canceled why did you use the services?  We take offense to your statements regarding the hygiene. Our facilities have stringent hygiene and cleanliness protocols. It's easy to make such broad accusations. We invite you to come for a free treatment so that you may show us as to what you are referring to?

The billing amounts were reduced in order to make it more affordable for you to keep up the payments, not sneaky but rather considerate and understanding from us. Every debit order has a unique reference number for identification purposes, normal banking procedures, however, the short name remains the same.

If you could not afford to keep up the monthly payments you should have not used the services and canceled, not resort to defaming the company.

We suggest that you contact us and make arrangements to settle the debt as any alternative will become more costly.

Yours Sincerely,
Customer Service Dept
