Horrible SPA- MoiMooi- Do not join on any special/ promotions

The company telephonically signed me on as a client (consensual) at the time, Feb 2019, for a fee of R499. When the debit order went off, it was actually for R699. This in ********* as I haven't even been a member for 3 months - therefore, I shouldn't even be exposed to an annual price increase yet. Further I requested cancellation weeks ago, 20 days notice is their policy, and they refuse to process my cancellation. They insist on telephone communication, whereas, I want email communication only - I want all correspondence in writing . I do not trust this company from an ethical and accounts standpoint. If MoiMooi SPA is reading this, please review your Code of Ethics and Anti-***** Policies. What you are doing is wrong. Customers have rights and your employees are not respecting our wishes. Please do an internal audit before you lose all business and close down.

Dear member,

The annual price increase is always effected in March. The price increase is for the services offered. This is standard practice with all business'.  The reason is so that we can keep up with inflationary pressures that cause our costs to continually increase.

R699-00 per month for the use of up to 5 spa treatments per month is still a fantastic offering and is a saving of R2000-00 per month if all treatments are used.

We follow all the relevant laws and guidelines that regulate our industry.

We are have a growing membership and are extremely proud of the service and savings we offer our members every month.

We therefore suggest that you stay on as a member and also experience the fantastic benefits and savings ( R24000-00 per year) that all our other members enjoy.

Yours Sincerely,
Customer Service Dept

Hi there, Thank you for the response. Might I suggest my individual case is reviewed. That would be a starting point. Secondly, I do not wish to remain a member ( I've seen what the brand is all about and the statement above doesn't make sense to me). Thirdly, pls process my cancellation, as I have requested numerous times. I've yet to receive the final settlement invoice. N.B not personal, it's just business and please be so kind as to review my individual case prior to punting the company retention strategy above as a response to appease me. Diane from accounting should be fami**** with me

Oh and one more thing - the reviews regarding MoiMooi are scattered. More like a 50/50 satisfaction/ dissatisfaction rate based on the HelloPeter reviews I've analysed. Please process my cancellation. Thank you.

lol it wasn't a compliment (although I know an attempted clap-back when I read one). Thank you for processing cancellation. Now we're getting somewhere. I will await the official documentation in writing via email.
