Duped by Relaxation

So back in December I get a call from a friend telling me about this great package deal her company is selling (also that I would be saving her job). Perfect for couples and my immediate thought was "Hey, girlfriend would love that". So out of guilt and being an overly nice person I say I'm interested. The following call lead to me giving out my personal details (which in honesty was stupid on my part but again I was doing this with al round good intentions) and then the terms and conditions were read to me before the end of the call. Firstly, it was sped through so I didn't catch most of the important terms and conditions; secondly it's being read before the END of the call, I feel like it should have been brought up before gathering the customers information. Again no idea of the ****storm I signed up for. About a week later R200 gets debited. I query this and I get a response like 2/3 weeks later. Now all the times we've corresponded via email I requested for a specific time for them to call and not once could they call at an appropriate time. After all this nonsense you can believe I'm fed up and want to close my account. But wait... I'm called and tried to convince to keep the account after which insisting of my disinterest the lady then lost her cheerful air. Upon telling me I'm expected to pay for the month of December and the closing fee totalling R700. I DID NOT EVEN USE THE PACKAGE I SIGNED UP FOR HOW IN BLUE SKIES AM I BEING CHARGED R900 FOR SERVICES I DID NOT USE!!!! Obviously I'm going to refuse paying for December and decide to compromise by paying to close the account. Won't I be debited with R399 making the total amount of money ****** R599. Honestly I'm beyond livid and if I could rate this company with less than a star I certainly would. I hope that this will prevent someone else from losing their hard earned money

Dear Client,

Our customer service agent sent you the voice correspondence, in which you could clearly ascertain that there was a valid agreement. All the terms and conditions were also clearly explained to you. This was followed up with a welcome pack sent to you via email which confirms all terms and conditions again. It seems as if there are some billing issues with your account.

We would love for you to start using the services

A customer service agent will be contacting you today and resolve the matter to your satisfaction.

We apologise for this misunderstanding

Yours Sincerely
