Welded Balljoints replaced and ignoring calls

In September 2014 my balljoints was replaced on my GWM bakkie or so I was told, the week before(Jan 2015) last my front right balljoint broke and I waited for technicians to come and assist, when the finally arrived i saw that this balljoint ( replaced in September 2014) was welded. a new one was put in and I went to workdhop with my query. I was advised by Jan that my balljoint would be send away and he will get back to me, two weeks later I still havent received feedback. I was also told by Jan that my balljoint might have been welded because the new one they put in didnt have a \lippie"so they made one. Doesnt sound right to me."""
