Change not brought back after a day

I ordered a toasted sandwhich for delivery at 12pm yesterday and specifically mentioned that i would like change for a 100 rands. The delivery guy arrived with my food at 12 but without my change saying that they have no change at the store which is strange because how do you have no money when you work with money daily. I then said I will go past there after work to fetch my change and let him go on his way with a tip. I get to the shop yesterday after work and I get told that the delivery guy left and went home with my change, which is something else because is an employee allowed to go home with a customers money. So I was then told I will get it today, now today Im being given the run around about my money i phoned 3 times asking about this and I was told he will bring it when he arrives at work and the 2nd time my call wasnt answered and the 3rd time Im told the guy hasnt come to work today and isnt answering his phone and will bring it when he comes to work. I am quite frustrated at the way they run the establishment like a community ****a shop with no respect or regard for their customers and zero principle either. Is this how a paying custommer is treated really?
