My brother is a C5 quadraplegic who requires a chin controlled electric wheel chair.<br> 20/01/15 Consultation in Cape Town<br> 01/02/15 Paid deposit <br> 13/02/15 Paid balance of purchase price. Total paid R221 350.00.<br> 04/03/15 Order changed to the newest Permobil F5 launching in June - delivery 6 weeks later.<br> 11/06/15 Enquired what the status was with the order, he said the wheelchair would be delivered by July/August.<br> 01/08/15 Demanded to see confirmation of the order and the payment thereof. Advised QASA (Quadraplegics Assoc. of S.A - Ari Sierlis) of the breach of trust with this service provider.<br> 05/08/15 Email from Donovan Walters, confirming that he had spent the funds and could not order the wheelchair until he had sourced other funding. No date was given regarding this, indicating the he wasn't going to get a loan from a bank for bridging finance.<br> 27/08/15 Letter of Demand from our attorneys.<br> 22/09/15 Permobil Sweden confirmed that their agent had never placed the order.<br> 01/10/15 Summons issued - he agreed to sign a repayment of debt over 6 months (his terms).<br> 10/12/15 Donovan Walters has still not signed the agreement to repay the funds.<br> <br> BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS MAN!
