Bad service and reprehensible attitude at mobiFix Tyger Valley.
I handed in an Apple Watch with a broken button for repair at Mobifix Tyger Valley on Friday 27 May 2022. I was told that it would be sent away on Monday 30 May, and I would get a quote within 24-48 from then. I received no call or message for a week, and when I enquired this morning (Monday 6 June) I was told that the store manager would call me at the latest by lunch. This did not happen, and when I went to the shop in person after work, the manager (who was sitting in an empty store behind the desk talking to the receptionist) had the audacity to tell me that “it was still lunchtime”. This was 16h35 in the afternoon. At first he was not sure which device I was referring to, but once the lights went on, he undertook to call me back within the hour with a quote. I requested that my watch be sent back as is if a quote is not available by the time he is meant to call me (i.e. 17h35). Needless to say, I did not receive a call. How a business could survive with such poor service and reprehensible attitude is beyond me. It is clear from other reviews on hellopeter that mine is not an isolated experience. I should have read them before taking my watch in.
