Not allowed to have a statement of payments made to attorneys

<p>Phoned MMY Attorneys this morning about a legal account to request a statement so I can see if the payments have been correctly allocated. They refuse to give it to me and they say I must contact their client. Surely if I'm paying them they must provide me with a statement. Is that not what NCA stipulates. I have paid R56 000-00 to MMY yet the debt has only been reduced by R8 000-00. Can this possibly be correct.</p>
