Collecting debt that is not owed!

<p>Today I received a sms from your legal team stating that I owe monies on my Telkom account (Which I do not have!)</p> <p>I look online and Telkom says I have no outstanding invoices, my last email from Telkom in 2015 reflect no monies owed, yet MMM Capital are trying to get me to pay over R1400.00????</p> <p> </p> <p>Firstly, I am not "failing to meet my payment obligations" as I have never heard from your company before today nor have i ever acknowledged or even known of this account.</p> <p> </p> <p>Secondly, Mrs Meyer you are not doing me any favours - I am trying to explain to you that I do not owe monies an I’m looking at my bill as we speak. Talking over someone as they speak is disrespectful and will make anyone upset! No, I don’t actually need you as you may think, I don’t need to work out a payment plan and no you are not here to help me! </p> <p> </p> <p>I have never made payment arrangements, I have not acknowledged this debt, I have no record of your company other than a badly worded sms and according to Telkom’s online billing system, I don’t owe them any monies.</p>
