ABYSMAL RUDE SERVICE AT MM ALL ELECTRONICS AT THE WEDGE
The behavior of your staff at the Samsung Repairs Center at The Wedge and lack of Managers presence is absolutely abysmal In December last year, I brought my Samsung watch in for repairs before leaving for holidays. Reason being the sensor was flickering in the day light and the battery needed to be charged every evening. The watch was checked in and I was told that the battery was replaced and sensor fixed. Great. The watch was working perfectly fine for 3 weeks. The it went downhill. On my holiday one morning, the battery was flat despite it being charged over night. The battery since then has not been seeing me through the day, its dead before 5pm. It is also not counting my steps accurately. As explained to Oliver (your disgustingly rude technician): I did a 7km run on Sunday. After my run it said I had zero steps. I turned the watch off and on and it said 3120 steps (my normal route is approx. 8000 steps- hence I know the steps are not accurate). Additionally I did not receive the points for the workout and my heart rate was not high enough? Impossible.
So yesterday in my short break between clients I visited the store for the second time now in one month. I had to wait 20 mins before being seen. Only 2 people working the desks. Nicole graciously assisted me. I explained to her that this is the second time returning the watch and this is a huge inconvenience to keep coming in to repair the watch. I also explained that should these issues keep getting worse then I would like the watch to be replaced since it is worse off since having it repaired.( Please note that my husband had an issue with his watch at Garmin, they replaced it no questions asked!) There is something drastically wrong with the watch.. She goes behind the scenes and comes back with Oliver. Oliver asks that I repeat what the problem is. He rudely interrupts me saying that the battery was replaced and that the short battery life must be due to applications running in the background or something I am doing with the watch. He then proceeds to tell me to prove to him that its NOT counting my steps accurately because he can see steps reflected on the watch.
Firstly: I am the client and the customer is always right. I do not need to prove nothing to this man. I am not taking time out of my day for fun. I am bringing the watch so that it can be repaired and to run the diagnostic to show me whats wrong with the watch and to get it working to a satisfactory level as it had been before the first repair! Secondly: I have used the watch and its application the same way since receiving it a year ago. If the repairs team replaces a battery and it recalibrates and runs applications in the background that exhaust the battery due to the reset, then its up to them to return the watch back to the settings that I used previously so this does not happen (If this is even the case? Who knows?) Third: When collecting my watch for the first time in December, I was in a queue with 3 other people. Each person had explained the despicable service received. Each person complained that when the item was returned it was in a worse condition then before the repair. And each person vowed never to buy a Samsung product again because of their experiences with MM ALL ELECTRONICS SAMSUMG REPAIRS. You are welcome to pull the video footage on 2 December and I will verify these cases reported. I have emailed and left a message for the managers- and have not yet received a response neither by call nor email. The staff at MM ALL ELECTRONICS were reluctant to hand out names and telephone numbers and due to there not being a manager available on site, I have had to waste more time in writing this email to you and having my issue handled. I will never use these despicable suppliers ever again. This experience has been nothing but a head ache and I will be sure to never purchase a Samsung product again to avoid any future dealings with MM ALL ELECTRONICS
