Review: MLP Caterers (David Molopyane)

We engaged MLP Caterers, represented by David Molopyane, for an event in March 2025. Full payment was made upfront for their catering services. However, the day before the event, David informed us that they would be unable to deliver on the agreement. He assured us that a full refund would be processed the very next day.

Fortunately, we were able to secure another caterer at short notice who delivered excellent service. Unfortunately, our experience with MLP Caterers only worsened after that. Despite multiple follow-ups via phone and email, we’ve had no further meaningful communication from David. He made a specific commitment to refund us by 25 April 2025 — we are now at 20 May 2025, and the refund is still outstanding.

This level of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Based on our experience, we do not recommend MLP Caterers under any circumstances, and we will not be using their services again
