Calvin explicitly confirmed, both verbally and in writing after reviewing my pictures, that he could manufacture the furniture within six weeks. All communication during this time was conducted via WhatsApp messaging.

After I paid a 50% deposit, he ceased all meaningful communication, repeatedly ignoring calls and messages. When he did respond, he delayed progress updates and provided excuses that lacked credibility regarding the status and timely delivery of the furniture.

Despite numerous attempts to contact him, his replies were often vague restatements of previous questions with no substantive progress updates or photos of the work. A careful review of his Facebook page reveals that the images he posts are misleading; he is pictured only standing next to completed pieces rather than actively working or showing any workshop evidence.

He committed twice to visiting to take measurements but failed to appear on both occasions, again offering excuses about being too busy. Additionally, he does not provide a verifiable business address.

Based on these experiences, it is clear that Calvin is not a reliable service provider. I strongly advise others to avoid doing business with him to prevent similar issues.
