M&J Plumbing - No Response No Service

My Name is Eddie, We made use of Marco's company M&J plumbing in Fishhoek Cape Town to do the renovation of 3 bathrooms in our home in Simonstown. The work was completed at the end of August 2019. Marco gave us a written 2 year Workmanship Guarantee. When issues started appearing with the plumbing and other elements of the work completed, I contacted M&J Plumbing, but M&J Plumbing just ignored me. In fact M&J Plumbing ignored me for almost 2 months although I tried to contact him on a regular basis. Then M&J Plumbing send a message on 15 Jan 2020 and said they will come the next week, which never happened. In a case like this a 2 year guarantee is not worth the paper its written on! All I'm saying is, we spend a fortune on work, but we cant trust M&J Plumbing to come fix their issues. That was one of the major factors why we selected a registered, so called "professional Company" to do the work,. I suggest IOPSA and the CIty of Cape Town should reconsider that companies like these are to be registered with them in future.
