Consumer Protection!? Not here, sorry!!

<p>I really need to know how a store can have a policy of no cash refunds on defective goods. On top of that you can only return goods within 7 days of date of purchase and then for exchange and or a credit note. Is the Consumer Protection Act a myth? The Mix Store in Long Street, Cape Town clearly thinks it is a myth as their assistants do not know of the provisions of the Act and neither does their management.</p>
