No way MiWay

When MiWay Insurance called to offer life insurance and I declined (politely), the agent hung up. I messaged MiWay pointing out that it's very rude to cut a call without saying goodbye, because it creates a bad impression, reflects poorly on MiWay and closes the door to further consideration by prospective clients. I suggested that the company train its call centre agents properly, stating that calls should be ended politely even if no business is secured - there is no excuse for poor manners. MiWay rep****, "We're so sorry for bugging you! Your details have been passed on to the right team and we’ll remove them from our system. Please let us know if we can assist you with anything else." The reply entirely misses - or ignores - the point of my e-mail. I didn’t complain about being contacted, I e-mailed to bring to MiWay's attention the poor impression that representatives create for the company because they are poorly trained and rude. Communication does not appear to be a strong suit for MiWay. It may seem inconsequential, but it's definitely no way to win business.
