MyWayLife exclude disabled from life insurance and competition

I app**** for the Home Makeover competition, knowing that I would need to obtain a life insurance quote.

However, when could not provide my height and weight, as I am in a wheelchair, I was told that they could not provide me with a quote, and therefor could not be included in the competition. As I cannot stand, I cannot weigh myself, so that is the reason why I could not provide what I was asked for.

The supervisor asked me to go spend money at the doctor to check if they had scale to weigh both me a and wheelchair, less wheelchair = me. However, not sure if my doctors have such scale and would need to book and pay for a doctor's appointment.

Is this ethical practise to discriminate against the disabled, who already have more to deal with than the average person?

Unbelievably risky and ********* behaviour for an insurance company, and that they will never provide life insurance for a disabled person!!!!!

As for your competition, not ethical either, as disabled people are excluded and therefor cannot enter. Sure there is a Competitions Bureau that should be notified of being excluded from the competition, based on my disability????
