DEBIT ORDER EARLY DEDUCTIONS FROM ARRANGED DATE

I took a life policy from Miway beginning of Dec 20, with effect from 1 Jan 21. I arranged for my debit order to go through my bank on the 1st of the month. In December my first debit order was deducted on the 20th of Dec. I thought i would let it go for December as my salary was paid in by then, and i thought it was just a once-off. But today on 25 January the next debit order, only due 1 Feb went off my bank account, without my salary even being paid in. I phoned Miway and the consultant confirmed that my debit order date was in fact the 1st and that there was a system glitch... This is very inconvenient as this was my last weeks petrol money that was in my bank account. I really feel this is very unprofessional by such a big company, and is considering cancelling my policy. I have car insurance from Outsurance for over 15 year, and this has never happened with any of their debit orders.
