If I can give half a star I would!! MiWay Life is an absolute joke! Terrible customer service. Absolutely diabolical and a complete ****! My dad passed away 2 months ago and we still have not received a pay out. When we send emails no one responds. We have had to call multiple times to get an update on the claim and every time we are told the claims team will call us back. When they eventually call back the insured amount changes. Every time! First we were told it was R250k. Then it went down to R60k and now we’ve been told that it’s R54k. And now we’ve been sent on a goose chase for further information!

How can the insured amount change? This is not an investment amount that fluctuates with economical changes. It’s the sum you are insured for.

I don’t even want to go into the mis-selling of the policy itself because that’s a separate legal matter we are currently pursuing. If I were to share the call that they so “kindly” pulled and forwarded to us you would be in utter shock of the gimmicks their sales team pulled on an elderly, impressionable man.
