When will the nightmare stop!
So my car is in for repairs. It was a small bump (I still drove over 1000km still with it). I gave it in at repair shop Miway choose. Since my car is in Miway pay me for 10days car hire even if I have a 30 day on my policy. They pay me out because I will not pay Avis a refundable R2000 (that I don't have I'm a pensioner and my excess alone is R6900). My car is now already 12 days away and their estimated repair time is 31 October 2023. Now I'm back to struggling because I need to pay people (neighbours) to help me to run errands. I am scared to use Uber services as I don't know the people. I feel about Miway the same as Discovery Insure. After this claim I change insurers and will never use Miway again. There repair shop in the 12days only gave me 2 updates and seems like even stripping and painting is more than 10days work. It is really 2 small bumps

25 Oct 2023, 09:35So I got a call on Friday and Monday promising me someone will phone me from claim section it's Wednesday and I still wait. I got message now that my car will only be ready the 8th of December 2023. I bump it slightly in the front. I drove more than 1000 km with my car my air con worked and my vehicle was functioning fine. How can it take the panelbeaters 2 months to repair my vehicle. Why can't I have my car back and only when they can work on it I can take it back. I was paid for 10day car hire it is already 17 days and I had 30 day car hire on my policy. I didn't want my vehicle to go to Thompsons from start.

25 Oct 2023, 10:04Oh Miway you are really bad in service delivery I pay per month extra for the extras on my vehicle like the VPS that I paid R1800 to install to protect my vehicle and the ceramic coating. You let me pay for it but after an accident and panelbeating you don't restore my car as it was with VPS or ceramic coating on spray painted jobs. You guys suck seriously.
