What happened to "insurance your way". MiWay are useless

After having been hounded for me to move my insurance to MiWay, I reluctantly agreed. There in lies my folly. I decided to exercise my right to change my mind and called MiWay to cancel the cover which would have been effective from the 1st of May 2018, on Monday 23 April 2018. I was then promptly put on hold for 10 minutes, after which I hung up and sent an email to MiWay stating my disgust at being put on hold for an extended period and informed them of my intention to cancel the proposed cover. This email was responded to by an automated response stating that I would be called by an agent. Further folly on my part as I have to date not been contacted, instead a deduction as made off my bank account today for the cover and I clearly stated to the agent who conned me into taking cover to them that the debit order date was to be for the 1st of May 2018, not the 26th of April, I am highly disgusted and would encourage all unsuspecting people to be very scared of MiWay.
