On the 30/05/2018 I called Miway ready to cancel the short-term insurance that I have with Miway on my 2 vehicles and home-contents cover. After 6 years of being a Miway client I had taken up a resolution to cancel when I saw my renewal Schedule for 2018/19 premium increases. My call to the call-center was intercepted by Vusi who really tried his best to retain my business, but my mind had been made up, after 6-years it was time for me to leave Miway. Vusi offered me a discounted rate on the proposed premium increase, but I was not flattered by the new offer. Vusi then requested to transfer to one of their Senior Consultants to see if the was anything further that they could to retain my business, I agreed to this, but I had told myself that whatever was offered I was going to decline and still migrate my business elsewhere. I was then transferred to Mpho Molosi (Snr Consultant), who listened to all the frustrations and complaints that led me to wanting to cancel my policies. She listened and provided clarity to some of the questions that I had, and needed answers to. She patiently took it upon herself to keep me as a Miway client. She managed to secure me a premium that I had not anticipated in a million years. She really went out of her way to accommodate my needs as a client, and I was very comfortable talking to her. She did not only listen, but she went on to explain the contents of my policy in full detail. Mpho really set the standard for the Customer Care service industry in this country. Miway really has a gem in this lady, and I applaud her for a job well done as she not only managed to retain my business, but really left me awed that there are still Customer Care Agents in this country who really care for the businesses that they represent.
