Verifying all personal details over phone

Today had a call from a MiWay agent - and I'm not even a MiWay user, don't have any insurance with them, just have a profile on their site, due to a quote request a long time ago.<br> <br> This agent started verifying all my personal details over the phone, and this concerns me. How do I know he is working for MiWay, and didn't get the info some other way? I don't have any new quotes, so why this verification?<br> <br> I'm not happy with this at all. What happened to the POPI act?
