Vehicle Returned with Defects – MiWay Ignoring Complaints (Claim C***)

I lodged a claim (C***) with MiWay, and was referred to City Panelbeaters in Virginia, one of their “approved service providers.” From the start, the service was unprofessional, communication was poor, and I raised red flags during the repair process, yet MiWay's assessors remained uninvolved. Miway refers me to this sub-standard service provider the they disappear! Getting your vehicle fixed and dealing with the panelbeater became my job.

My vehicle was returned to me with multiple unresolved and new issues:

1. Missing antenna rubber

2. Shortened/faulty wheel arch rubber

3. Poor paint job on the fender

4. All four BF Goodrich tires had their white lettering removed or damaged — not from the accident, but from the panel shop’s work

5. No proof of “new door purchase” was ever supp****, despite promises

Despite being patient and trying my best to get assistance from Miway and sending them photos of the state in which I received my vehicle back from the service proved (since 7 July 2025), I’ve received no response or proper feedback. The "approved service provider" phoned me, told me that the antenna rubber will cost them R800 and offered to intall a home made part instead?!!!!! SHOCKING

I'ts been 7 weeks now, I have a damaged vehicle and Miway is ignoring my E-mails.

As a paying client, I expected better.
